Kirsten's strength, our inspiration

This business is incredibly close to our hearts, a tribute to Kirsten Newman, who we lost in May 2019 at the age of 21. Kirsten faced unimaginable challenges, including sexual harassment by her teacher. Despite her pain, she found the courage to stand up, ensuring that teacher was removed from the school where her sister, Haven, now attends. Kirsten’s bravery protected Haven and countless others from similar harm. This is why we named our store Kirstens Safe Haven; 'Haven' means a safe place, and that’s precisely what we aim to create here.
